While many of you are playing betas of games you have to pay for, why not check out my free online game, AMMO? This week I've added in a special guest, renowned game critic and blogger Reverend Anthony! In case you're wondering, no, I'm not going to mention halflife 2 in this post.
As always, AMMO is a free download at http://agentmoo.com/AMMO. The is running tomorrow at 11PM ET on the server Megamoo. Send me a PM or email at AgentMOO at gmail if you have any questions or suggestions about the game.
New this week:
Car Jacking - You can now steal people's rides! You know, like that other game.
Space level - Added a new level that is off in space with platforms, punt people off the edge for epic wins!
Connection check and Server Guide - The game will now try to 'phone home' when you start a game and let you know if there are any problems. It'll guide you through the process of setting up a game to host on your own. The hosting guide with details is here.
The playable characters list is always growing, here's the current set:

Over the past few months I have been working on a multiplayer 2d shooter in XNA. I don't have a title for it yet, but the game is playable and you can download the beta and try it out. There's no instruction manual per se, but you basically load up the game, and start a new one (host) or join a game from the list. Also set your player name, it gets confusing with a bunch of Roy G. Bivs running amok.
I plan on being around for testing tonight at 8 eastern, my AIM is agent mu and gtalk is agent moo.
Requirements:
Windows XP
DirectX 9 or better Video Card

Please sign up on the game forums if you'd like to post suggestions, bugs, or just get updates on the progress of the project.

Ho-ly shit puzzle quest is addictive. I just loaded it up last night and was playing till the so late that they are not so wee hours of morning. The leveling up and spells mechanic works great in the context of the puzzle combat. This game has found the cure for repetitive-puzzleitis. Download it off XBLA. Now. I don't care how close you are to 55 in COD. Do it.

| | The "leaked" 3d screenshots are a hoax, and the 2d/3d cell shading rumor is also false. Capcom is taking the series in an entirely new direction that is sure to please retro gaming fans everywhere. Capcom has decided to skip going back to 2d, and go all the way back to a single dimension.
Check out this exclusive gameplay footage I have acquired! Depicted is Ken Vs. Blanka in Blanka's stage.
