Moo told me to post this, Getting any Controller to work with AMMO

Plain and simple, I've heard that controllers don't like to work with AMMO. So when I was given a Logitech PS2 clone PC controller, the first game I had to try it with was AMMO. Now the gamepad controls didn't work at first, so I asked around for a solution, and was shown this great little program called Joy2key.

Joy2key is a simple little program that essentially assigns Joystick/Gamepad buttons to keyboard keys. All you do is set up a few buttons, minimize the program to system tray and bam, works with Ammo.

A neat little feature Joy2key has is that it saves setups for multiple games.

Vlambo, I actually took a look at that and after doing some research I found a way to natively support gamepads. I am testing right now with a Logitech Dual Action and it's working pretty smoothly. I'll push this through in the patch for tomorrow's game to test it out.

The buttons are hardcoded right now, but later I can set it to be configured.
